Ioanna Margoni

Implantologist - Prosthodontist

The dentist Ioanna Margoni was born in Athens. In 2012 he graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Athens.


After completing her studies, she did her first Master’s degree at City Unity College on Implantology and Laser Dentistry. At the same time he worked for a year in a well-known dental clinic in Kolonaki, gaining experience in implants and bone and tissue regeneration using blood growth factors after centrifugation. Her research entitled “A Case-Study of Seven Dental Implants Placed in the Maxillary Sinus with Intentional Schneiderian Membrane Perforation” was published in the scientific journal JIACD in 2014.,vol6.,No.1

During the period 2012-2017 she moved permanently to England where she worked as an associate dentist, gaining extensive clinical experience in the whole range of therapeutic, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children.

In 2013 he obtained certification for modern methods of performing Endodontic Treatment.

In 2016, having completed a full-time postgraduate program, he received the Master of Science in Conservative Dentistry (MSc Conservative Dentistry) from the internationally renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London, England. Her postgraduate program enabled her to deepen and specialize in implants and prosthetic restorations, prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. In her postgraduate thesis she dealt with the laboratory growth of microbes in materials for implant and mobile restorations and ways of dealing with it. Her research was published by the scientific journal IJP in 2018.

After completing her postgraduate studies, she continued to work as an associate in specialist private polyclinics in central London, such as Chelsea, Bayswater and City of London, as well as in a well-known chain of BUPA dental practices, with a particular interest in Restorative Restoration of complex cases as well as in the treatment of patients with “dental phobia”.

In 2016 she became certified in Anterior Zone Aesthetics at a Harley street clinic in London.
He attends a number of international and domestic conferences with the aim of continuous education and the provision of modern health services. He is a member of: – the Dental Association of Attica – the British Dental Association (BDA) – the Dental Association of the United Kingdom (GDC) – the International Team of Implantology (ITI).
